Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring during night shifts
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions
- Administer medications and treatments following strict protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient care across departments during overnight operations
- Respond to patient calls and address urgent needs promptly
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for next-day operations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital or urgent care setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Valid Florida healthcare provider license
