Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and perform vital sign monitoring with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and triage urgent overnight cases
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment for next-day use
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and medical software
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
