Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during night shift hours
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Administer medications and injections following strict protocols
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure smooth clinic operations overnight
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- BLS/CPR certification (must maintain current)
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
