Responsibilities
- Monitor System Health: Proactively monitor server performance, network traffic, and application availability to prevent downtime.
- Ticket Resolution: Handle incoming IT support tickets via remote tools and prioritize critical issues affecting business operations.
- Security Management: Enforce security protocols and conduct regular audits of access logs to ensure data integrity.
- Software Updates: Apply patches and perform maintenance updates on servers and end-user devices during off-peak hours.
- Incident Response: Lead the initial response to system outages and coordinate with the day-shift team for escalations.
- User Assistance: Provide technical guidance and remote support to employees requiring assistance with software or hardware issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document issues clearly.
- Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
