The Role:
You will be the first line of defense for our 24/7 operations, ensuring business continuity and system integrity throughout the night.
Responsibilities
- System Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor server performance, network traffic, and security alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Ticket Resolution: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for remote and on-site staff.
- On-Site Support: Provide hands-on technical assistance to night-shift employees in the Raleigh facility.
- Security Compliance: Enforce IT security protocols, manage access rights, and conduct nightly vulnerability scans.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of incidents, resolutions, and system changes for audit purposes.
- Hardware Management: Oversee the deployment, repair, and inventory management of IT assets.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with third-party support teams for escalations during the night.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Helpdesk or Technical Support.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is highly desirable.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows OS, Active Directory, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for ticket documentation.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
