Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot server infrastructure and network connectivity issues.
- Provide tier 2 technical support via phone and remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
- Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, and security patches during low-traffic periods.
- Document technical incidents and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime for internal systems and client services.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or IT helpdesk environments.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply.
