Responsibilities
- Monitor system health, server loads, and network traffic during off-hours to prevent downtime.
- Resolve critical technical tickets and provide remote troubleshooting support to internal stakeholders.
- Execute automated scripts and perform scheduled maintenance tasks, backups, and security patches.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in our CMDB and ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure smooth handovers and continuity of operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to IT security protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively during night hours.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote support.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
