Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone and remote access during night hours.
- Monitor server health, patch management, and system alerts to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Perform hardware troubleshooting, OS installation, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over critical issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Respond to urgent system outages and perform necessary remediation steps.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Technical Support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting.
- Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
