Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot local and network systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions, software conflicts, and connectivity issues.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security audits during off-peak hours.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in the Service Desk portal.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to ensure seamless workflow handovers.
- Adhere to strict IT security protocols and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Help Desk, IT Support, or Technical Support roles.
- Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift and transport IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License (required for on-site support in Ohio locations).
