Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot local and network systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions, software conflicts, and connectivity issues.
  • Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security audits during off-peak hours.
  • Document all incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in the Service Desk portal.
  • Collaborate with the Day Shift team to ensure seamless workflow handovers.
  • Adhere to strict IT security protocols and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Help Desk, IT Support, or Technical Support roles.
  • Must be available to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift and transport IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
