Apex Digital Systems is hosting a special Hiring Event for our Night Shift Operations Center in Oklahoma City. We are looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our elite team and ensure our critical infrastructure remains stable while the rest of the world sleeps.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-impact role without the typical office distractions. You will be the first line of defense for our clients, resolving complex technical issues and managing system maintenance during off-hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system performance 24/7.
- Resolve incoming help desk tickets and technical support requests via remote access and phone.
- Execute scheduled system backups, patch management, and security updates during low-traffic windows.
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and internal network devices.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and operational procedures in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to ensure seamless handoffs of active projects.
- Conduct basic hardware repairs and software installations for office equipment.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds) is highly preferred.
