Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 Technical Support: Monitor helpdesk tickets and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal employees during night hours.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine server patches, security updates, and database maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Hardware & Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity issues on-site and remotely.
- Remote Access Management: Utilize remote desktop tools to assist clients and staff with VPN access and software configuration.
- Incident Reporting: Document all technical issues, resolutions, and resolutions in the CMDB (Configuration Management Database) for audit trails.
- On-Call Support: Be available for critical system outages or emergencies that may arise during the shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
