Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support for end-users, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Monitor server systems and network performance to ensure 99.9% uptime during night operations.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and security updates on a weekly basis.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets and escalation requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of ongoing projects and critical issues.
- Conduct nightly audits of access logs and security protocols to safeguard company data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- CompTIA A+ Certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
