Responsibilities
- Monitor & Maintain: Oversee server health, network performance, and system integrity during night operations.
- Ticket Resolution: Efficiently triage, troubleshoot, and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 technical support tickets to minimize downtime.
- Security Management: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data and assets during non-business hours.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze system logs to identify bottlenecks and optimize database performance for 24/7 availability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and incident reports.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with day-shift teams to hand over critical issues and status updates.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux administration, SQL, and network troubleshooting (TCP/IP).
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tools: Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is a plus.
