Responsibilities
- Monitor system health and performance across multiple servers and networks 24/7.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues reported by users during off-peak hours.
- Execute scheduled maintenance windows and patch management protocols.
- Document all incident reports, resolutions, and configuration changes in the CMDB.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless transitions and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure strict adherence to ITIL processes and company security policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, Systems Administration, or Network Engineering.
- Must be willing and able to work the Night Shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is a plus.
