Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision: Lead the design and implementation of a scalable microservices architecture tailored for the 2026 tech landscape, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Future-Proofing: Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Edge Computing, Quantum Readiness) and integrate them into the current system stack to ensure long-term viability.
- System Optimization: Analyze system performance bottlenecks and implement architectural changes to optimize speed, latency, and resource utilization.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and junior developers, conducting code reviews and establishing best practices for security and scalability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Infrastructure Strategy: Define the roadmap for cloud infrastructure migrations and cost-reduction strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Programming: Proficiency in at least two of the following: Go, Java, Python, or Rust.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of defining technical roadmaps and delivering complex projects on time.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
