Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests under supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient communication
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
Qualifications
- Current Florida Medical Assistant certification or CMA credential
- BLS/CPR certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings
