Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals assessment, and medical history documentation.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, minor procedures, and injections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized examination room environment.
- Prepare and manage patient charts and electronic health records (EHR).
- Coordinate with insurance providers for pre-authorizations and verifications.
- Provide compassionate customer service to patients and visitors.
- Administer medication and perform basic laboratory tests as directed.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with electronic health record systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED required.
