Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification or CMA credential
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Background check and drug screen required
