Responsibilities
- Hardware & Software Support: Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software for office employees.
- Ticket Resolution: Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Network Assistance: Perform basic network diagnostics and assist in maintaining local area network (LAN) connectivity.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on new software tools and company security protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system issues, resolutions, and hardware inventories.
- System Updates: Assist in regular system backups and updates to ensure data integrity and security.
- Onboarding: Support the IT onboarding process for new hires, setting up their workstations and accounts.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior professional IT experience required. Passion for technology and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Language: Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Technical Basics: Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and internet browsers.
- Problem Solving: Ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot simple technical issues logically.
- Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States and willing to undergo visa sponsorship processes.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
