Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to resolve hardware/software issues via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist with network administration tasks including user account management and system monitoring
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate incident reports
- Collaborate with senior team members on system upgrades and security implementations
- Install and configure workstations, peripherals, and software applications
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives and basic threat monitoring
- Support office technology infrastructure including printers, AV systems, and network devices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Customer service mindset with patience and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain CompTIA A+ certification within 6 months
- Valid Texas driver's license may be required for occasional off-site support
