Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security access within Active Directory and cloud platforms.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi and cabling.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in our ticketing system (ServiceNow/Zendesk).
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on software deployment and system upgrades.
- Conduct regular system checks to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+) upon hire.
