We encourage candidates who are currently enrolled in a college or university, or who have graduated less than 12 months ago, to apply. We provide guidance through the J1 visa sponsorship process.
Responsibilities
- Assist the development team in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for web and mobile applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and debugging.
- Conduct technical research and analyze user requirements to propose innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, marketing) to ensure project milestones are met.
- Document code changes and maintain technical project repositories.
- Attend team meetings, code reviews, and agile sprint planning sessions.
- Shadow senior engineers to learn industry best practices and soft skills.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent graduate (less than 12 months since graduation).
- Must be eligible to obtain a J1 Trainee Visa.
- Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Basic knowledge of software development principles and programming languages.
- Enthusiasm for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Valid passport and willingness to relocate to Portland, Oregon.
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks.
