Responsibilities
- Assist senior developers in the full lifecycle of software development, including coding, testing, and debugging.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and agile sprint planning meetings.
- Conduct code reviews and refactor legacy code to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional code.
- Write clear, concise, and well-documented technical documentation.
- Deploy applications to cloud environments (AWS/Azure) under supervision.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Must be eligible for the J1 Trainee Exchange Visa (no prior work experience in the US required).
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Fluent in English (B2 level or higher) for effective team communication.
- Valid passport and willingness to relocate to San Antonio, TX.
