Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printer configuration, network connectivity, and operating system errors.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the senior engineering team to document technical procedures and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure all software licenses and security protocols are up to date.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Experience with Active Directory, VPNs, and remote desktop technologies is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
