Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 and tier-2 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported incidents via ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk) with a focus on first-contact resolution.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and peripherals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations and system upgrades.
- Document standard operating procedures and technical best practices for the help desk.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data security compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required (No Degree Required).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, and troubleshooting hardware peripherals.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong logical reasoning and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Availability: Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed for system maintenance.
