Responsibilities
- Develop and execute international market expansion strategies for North American operations
- Lead cross-functional teams across 5+ countries to align business objectives
- Analyze global market trends to identify new growth opportunities in the Midwest region
- Coordinate with legal teams to ensure international compliance and regulatory adherence
- Manage international vendor relationships and negotiate cross-border contracts
- Present quarterly international business performance to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff on cross-cultural communication and global business etiquette
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in international trade or global expansion
- Proficiency in at least one language beyond English (Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic highly valued)
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-cultural teams and diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and data interpretation
- Ability to navigate complex international regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful market entry strategies
