Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharges during weekend shifts
- Manage staff scheduling and resource allocation for weekend operations
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Respond to emergencies and escalate critical issues appropriately
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and support staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Conduct weekend staff briefings and handovers
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years healthcare coordination experience
- Valid Tennessee nursing or medical assistant license required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
