Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Take patient vital signs and document medical histories
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and billing support
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or diploma required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic phlebotomy and ECG certification preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
