Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and vital sign monitoring
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Sterilize equipment and ensure clinic compliance with OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up communications
- Assist with lab specimen collection and basic lab procedures
- Support front desk operations when needed
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or experience acceptable)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check and drug screen clearance
