Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) safely and efficiently
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest high-value crops (apples, grapes, berries)
- Monitor crop health and implement pest control measures
- Perform quality inspections and sorting of fresh produce
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities per safety standards
- Document daily production and inventory accurately
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize harvest schedules
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility (international candidates)
- Minimum 2 years commercial farming experience
- Commercial driver's license (Class B) preferred
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts in all weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Knowledge of NY agricultural regulations
- Strong work ethic and reliability
