Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) for crop cultivation
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, pruning, and harvesting
- Monitor crop health and report irrigation/fertilization needs
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and H2A program regulations
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize productivity
- Assist in post-harvest processing and packing
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience
- Ability to work 45-55 hours weekly in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical stamina for manual labor and equipment operation
- Clean driving record (if operating vehicles)
- Willingness to relocate to Jacksonville area
- Pass background check and drug screening
