Responsibilities
- Harvest and process premium tropical fruits/vegetables using industry-leading techniques
- Operate advanced agricultural machinery (harvesters, irrigation systems) safely
- Maintain crop quality through precision sorting and packing protocols
- Adhere to FDA and USDA food safety standards rigorously
- Monitor field conditions and report crop health to supervisors
- Collaborate with international team members to ensure operational excellence
- Participate in sustainable farming practices and environmental stewardship
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verified experience in commercial agriculture
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility (US employer sponsorship)
- Physical ability to perform 8-hour shifts in tropical conditions
- Basic English communication skills for team coordination
- Certification in safe machinery operation (preferred)
- Knowledge of tropical crop harvesting techniques (mangoes, avocados, etc.)
- Ability to work legally in the United States under H2A program
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
