Responsibilities
- Harvest premium crops including lettuce, melons, and peppers using precision techniques
- Operate advanced agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters) with safety protocols
- Implement integrated pest management systems under expert supervision
- Maintain irrigation systems and crop monitoring protocols
- Adhere to FDA food safety standards and quality control procedures
- Participate in sustainable farming practices and soil conservation
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams for peak season efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to obtain sponsorship
- Minimum 1 year documented agricultural experience
- Ability to work 10+ hours/day in extreme heat conditions
- Proficiency in English/Spanish bilingual communication preferred
- Valid driver's license for equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- USDA pesticide handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to worksite (provided housing available)
