Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor in crop harvesting (tobacco, corn, soybeans)
- Operate agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters) safely and efficiently
- Monitor crop quality and report issues to supervisors
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and EPA standards
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and field preparation
- Work collaboratively in diverse, multicultural teams
- Complete daily production reports accurately
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 2 years documented farm/agriculture experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic English proficiency for safety communication
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, 6 days/week during peak season
- Strong work ethic and reliability
