Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and forklifts on job sites.
- Site Management: Read and interpret blueprints and site plans to ensure accurate excavation and grading.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and minor maintenance on provided equipment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with site supervisors and ground personnel.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy construction equipment.
- No Degree Needed: A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required if you have the necessary skills.
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
