Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts)
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Collaborate with ground crew for efficient project execution
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and site plans
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
- Maintain clean and organized equipment storage areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Basic English communication skills (ESL support available)
- Clean driving record and valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexibility to work extended hours during project deadlines
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
