Responsibilities
- Field Operations: Assist in the planting, weeding, and harvesting of seasonal crops under the supervision of experienced farm managers.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate basic farm machinery and tools, including tractors and harvesters (training provided).
- Quality Control: Inspect crops for quality and grade, ensuring only the best produce is packed for distribution.
- Packing & Logistics: Sort, pack, and load produce onto trucks for transport to local markets and distribution centers.
- Farm Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and farm protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Work Authorization: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an H2A Visa.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions for long hours.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time seasonal work, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the farm location.
- Language: Basic English proficiency is required to follow safety instructions and communicate with the team.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are essential.
