Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops such as corn, alfalfa, and chile peppers.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery, including tractors, sprayers, and harvesters.
- Monitor crop health, identify pests or diseases, and implement necessary treatments.
- Ensure all safety protocols and environmental regulations are strictly followed on the farm.
- Load, unload, and transport harvested goods to storage or processing facilities.
- Assist in general farm maintenance, including fence repair, irrigation system checks, and ground maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production quotas efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A Visa sponsorship eligibility or willingness to obtain sponsorship through our program.
- Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or farm labor is preferred but not always required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of agricultural machinery and safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends during harvest season.
- Willingness to reside in on-site housing provided by the employer.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
