Responsibilities
- Operate automated irrigation and climate control systems
- Harvest and package premium leafy greens and herbs
- Monitor crop health and implement integrated pest management
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Operate specialized agricultural machinery (training provided)
- Collaborate with international team members in multilingual setting
- Adhere to FDA Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or eligibility for H2A program
- Minimum 1 year commercial farming experience
- Ability to work in controlled environment (60-80°F)
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical ability to stand 8+ hours and lift 40 lbs
- Completion of agricultural safety training preferred
- Reliable transportation to Jersey City facility
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
