Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including vegetables, fruits, and grains
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols
- Inspect crops for quality and disease; report findings to supervisors
- Assist with packing, sorting, and loading produce for distribution
- Maintain farm cleanliness and equipment sanitation
- Work in all weather conditions including extreme heat
- Adhere to all H2A program regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Physical ability to perform strenuous manual labor (lifting 50+ lbs, bending, standing for 8+ hours)
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- No prior agricultural experience required; training provided
- Clean criminal background check
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be available for minimum 6-month contract period
