Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops following safety protocols
- Inspect and maintain field equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with crop management including pest control and irrigation monitoring
- Adhere to all H2A program requirements and USDA regulations
- Document daily work activities and crop progress accurately
- Collaborate with crew members to maintain efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of agricultural practices preferred
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Willingness to relocate to Anchorage for the season
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
