Responsibilities
- Harvesting: Perform manual harvesting tasks, including picking, cutting, and gathering crops according to strict quality standards.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate farm equipment, including tractors, ATVs, and harvesters under direct supervision.
- Packing & Grading: Assist in the sorting, grading, and packing of harvested produce for distribution.
- Field Maintenance: Maintain field cleanliness, remove debris, and ensure irrigation systems are functioning properly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and farm-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with fellow workers and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Work Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (H2A visa sponsorship available).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Weather Resilience: Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, rain, and cold.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a proven history of punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency required to understand instructions and ensure safety.
