Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops using hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Operate tractors, irrigation systems, and harvesting machinery safely
- Monitor crop health and apply integrated pest management techniques
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution following food safety protocols
- Maintain field cleanliness and equipment maintenance records
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize harvest schedules
- Adhere to all H2A program requirements and labor regulations
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa certification or eligibility to obtain
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and extended hours during peak seasons
- Basic understanding of English for safety communications
- Willingness to work variable schedules based on crop cycles
- Previous agricultural experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
