Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and emerging biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Produce visionary whitepapers and thought leadership on next-gen technology paradigms
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects with 5-10 year commercialization horizons
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and geopolitical implications for innovation strategy
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futures/foresight roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and S-curve adoption patterns
- Credibility with industry leaders and technology innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term technology disruption scenarios
