Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, spatial web) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Partner with C-suite to translate future scenarios into competitive business strategies
- Author thought leadership on technological paradigm shifts
- Champion ethical frameworks for next-generation deployments
- Build and lead a global network of futurist researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of predicting tech trends (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with patent analysis and competitive intelligence systems
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
