Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 market impact
- Develop technology roadmaps aligning emerging innovations with business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning and risk assessments for disruptive technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating speculative technologies into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and innovation frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published author in technology foresight or innovation strategy
