Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and scenario modeling
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our Silicon Valley innovation lab
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Produce quarterly technology impact assessments and trend briefings
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth tech
- Proven track record in forecasting tech disruption (AI/ML, quantum, or biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism (patents, whitepapers, or books)
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools and data visualization platforms
