Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for 2026 market disruptions
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen human-AI interfaces
- Author white papers on ethical implications of emerging tech
- Adv Fortune 500 clients on digital transformation strategies
- Manage $2M annual innovation grant portfolio
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation consulting
- Published research on emerging tech trends (2020-2025)
- Expertise in at least two domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method)
- Track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight work (e.g., trend reports, patents)
