Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technology foresight frameworks predicting market shifts through 2030
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging tech opportunities
- Author strategic briefs on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Establish KPIs for innovation adoption and ROI measurement
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in future methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven track record of forecasting market trends
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Assessment preferred
