You'll lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen solutions while anticipating industry shifts and ethical implications.
Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive industry transformations
- Develop patent strategies for futuristic innovations
- Present tech forecasts to C-suite and investors
- Collaborate with R&D on prototyping 2026-vision products
- Advise on ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in future forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent
- Exceptional communication for complex technical narratives
